About Matt
Dr. Matt Dawson MD, RDMS, RDCS, is the Director of Emergency Ultrasound at the University of Kentucky and Director of Ultrasound for Mesa Medical Group, both based in Lexington, KY. He has published numerous studies in peer-reviewed journals, none of which are interesting enough to mention, and he has lectured national and internationally on ultrasound and other topics (yawn….).Dr. Dawson is starting an emergency ultrasound fellowship 7/1/13. More important information
He has a beautiful wife and two gorgeous daughters and enjoys spending time with them and ultrasounding them in their sleep as he can’t keep from ultrasounding anything that stays still too long. He has completed two Ironman races, and other endurance events in times so slow they shouldn’t count.
He has won numerous National and International breakdancing competitions and hopes to someday be as cool as Mike Mallin without also acquiring his receding hairline.
p.s. – He really can’t breakdance, but it sounded too cool not to make up.
