#Protips from Castlefest.  Fractures, pyloric stenosis, cardiac, + MORE. #FOAMED www.castlefest2018.com open for registration!

Castlefest 2017 was amazing!  Incredible ultrasound education, bourbon distillery dinners, parties at the castle, and getting to hang out with incredible sononerds is an experience you need to have if you haven’t.  It’s not fair that all the great education stays in the castle, though.  So, we want to share some pro tips with you from the course.  Enjoy!

Also………next year’s registration is open, but we’re cutting the registration numbers in half to make it a smaller event so we can actually get to know everyone.  We feel like it’s gotten too big.  Obviously, this means that it will sell out much more quickly.  Sorry.  Don’t miss out.  Go to www.castlefest2018.com to register now.

Thanks much for the great work you do! We’ve watched many of your videos (me and my docs at Kent Hospital in Izmir, Turkey) over the past few years.
I’ve been asked to write a short article for a general med Turkish journal about the history of bedside ultrasound in EM.
Do you have any articles (or links pointing to articles) that you’ could send me? I attended a pre-annual conference SAEM US course back in 1992 or so, but that was not the first big course (I don’t think it was)… but I realized then that US would play a huge role in ED care.
Or any personal info you might have about the history of bedside US in the ED?
Thanks for any help you can give! Sincerely, John Fowler in Izmir
