    Sweet technique, love it.
    Have you guys seen the US-block needles with the grooves on the barrel of he needle?
    I love these, the needle stands out like a light sabre on your screen – you can see the tip so easily!!
    Let me know – I will send you some to try – they rock- and we’re invented by a guy I know who is he local guru of US in anaesthesia

    Do you always use Lidocaine or do you sometimes use bupivacaine?

    Casey, love those needles, just don’t love the price!

    John, I prefer bupivicaine. Al least when it’s not on back order. Usually use 0.25%

    I’m reading about femoral nerve blocks (good for femur and knee fx) and iliacus blocks (good for hip fractures) can you clarify? Is a femoral nerve block a good blook for a proximal hip fracture.
